Mrs Isham is the counselor of PSLA at Fowler . They counsel and help the students. So that every student know that they can go to her for help.

									Fowler High School recognizes that each student is an individual; that all students are creative; that all students need to succeed. Therefore, Fowler High School respects the individual needs of students; fosters a caring and creative environment; and emphasizes the social, emotional, physical, intellectual development of each student.

III.  Description of the specific tasks you performed for he organization or individual

 I tutored a freshman student in Algebra and helped her get her grades up

IV.  Discuss any memorable personal experience; positive or negative, you had during your service that you feel were important.    How these tasks impacted the mission of the organization or the well-being of the individual? There was a time when the student i was tutoring needed help with a situation involving another student and i was able to help resolve the issue. This task and every other task impacted the mission statement in a good way and helped the well-being of the individual.

By helping this girl i was not only able to help get her grades up and get all her work turned in, i was also able to make a friend and be someone she can look up to

I feel i made a positive impact on this girl's life, she is now able to look to me for help with not only school work but for anything else. Community service impacts our society by showing the people in the community that you can help out and make the community better. Yes i would recommend it, there is always someone out there that needs some tutoring and if they don't get it they tend to lash out or not pay attention.
